Report: Gigi Hadid Arrested and Fined $1000

American model, Gigi Hadid was allegedly arrested for marijuana possession on a recent vacation, according to a local Cayman Islands news source.

Officials inspected Hadid and a friend's bags when they arrived in the Cayman Islands on a private plane and discovered "ganja and utensils used for the consumption of ganja" there.

Hadid and her friend admitted guilt and paid a $1,000 fee during their court appearance on July 12th. They don't have any other charges pending against them.

“Gigi was traveling with marijuana purchased legally in NYC with a medical license. It has also been legal for medical use in Grand Cayman since 2017. Her record remains clear and she enjoyed the rest of her time on the island,” her representative said in a statement with Rolling Stone.
