Dubai Metro passengers are facing another round of delays within a span of 24 hours as technical issues disrupt services at certain stations. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced on Wednesday evening, around 8 pm, that regular operations had been resumed.

Despite the announcement of service restoration on Wednesday evening, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) took to social media once again on Thursday morning, informing passengers about ongoing technical difficulties. As a result, passengers were advised to use the RTA's S'hail app to plan their journeys and reach their destinations.

“Thanks for contacting us and apologies for any inconvenience caused, kindly note that we are facing extra load of passengers during peak hours and we have implemented extra train insertions to relief the crowd congestion. Please make sure to plan your journey in advance by using…”

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) initially identified the problem at Max station, situated on Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Street, between Zabeel Park and the Al Jafiliya district. However, social media users reported disruptions in service at other stations along the Dubai Metro line.

The RTA replied to confirm the service was still facing problems.

"Kindly note that we are facing an extra load of passengers during peak hours and we have implemented extra train insertions to relieve the crowd congestion. Please make sure to plan your journey in advance by using RTA S’hail App," the RTA stated.
