The Palm Fountain Will Attempt To Break A Guinness World Records Title

The public is invited to witness the celebration at The Pointe on October 22

Being one of the most recognized cities in the world with the tallest building to the number one tourist destination. Dubai is famous for its noteworthy experiences which are remember by all. This iconic waterfront destination located on the truck of Palm Jumeriah, will have an inaugural event for an attempt to break a Guinness World Records™ (GWR) title and launch the world’s largest fountain at The Pointe.

As a part of Nakheel Malls, the leading developer of retails experiences in the Middle East, Omar Khoory, Managing Director, Nakheel Malls, said: “Nakheel Malls is proud to launch The Palm Fountain, a celebration of Dubai’s resilience and building on the expanding portfolio of iconic attractions on Palm Jumeirah.” adding “The launch of The Palm Fountain is a testament to our commitment to support retailers and push boundaries to provide our customers with unique experiences.” 

A host of activations such as multiple DJ sets, dance shows, performers and a magical fireworks show will be present of the event, all starting at 4 p,. With an ambition to aim for the sky, the fountains will be spread over 14,000 sqft of sea water with shooters as tall as 105 metres and over 3,000 LED lights,


 

Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), said “The Palm Fountain will have 20 bespoke shows with five different shows running daily between sunset to midnight (7pm to 12am) while swaying to an array of popular songs including Khaleeji, pop, classic, international and more.”

Restaurant bookings can also be made in advance to witness the spectacular views and complimentary shuttle buses will be available to take visitors from Nakheel Mall to The Pointe every 30 minutes.

Set to open in October 2020, The Palm Fountain on The Pointe will feature a spectacular and colorful dancing fountain offering stunning, daily shows from 7pm onward. 

The timings are from 4 pm until midnight on 22 October at East and West promenade of The Pointe. Everyone can attend this event for free, however, registration is essential via platinumlist.net
