This Dubai Hotel is Set to Be the Tallest in the World

The Ciel Tower is set to be the tallest hotel in the world, eclipsing the Gevora Hotel, which is 356-meter (1,168 feet).

The anticipated tower will be 360.4 meters upon completion featuring 1,042 rooms and suites spread across 82 floors and scheduled to open in late 2022 or early 2023. A glass observation deck will offer 360-degree views of the city.

Ciel Tower will also feature a spa, rooftop swimming pool, business facilities, and "multiple award-winning restaurants" which will be announced in the coming months, the spokesperson said.

The First Group Firm that created Dubai's iconic Atlantis, the Palm Hotel, is the one that created Ciel Tower.

Construction work has been ongoing since 2016 at the building site in Dubai Marina.

The Ciel Tower will be the tallest hotel while Gevora, the JW Marriot Marquis (355 meters, 1,165 feet) will be the 2nd tallest, the Rose Rayhaan (333 meters, 1,093 feet) 3rd , and the Burj al Arab (321 meters, 1,053 feet) 4th .
