The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued a heat alert yesterday as the UAE experiences extremely hot conditions. Whether you're heading out or planning to stay indoors, here’s what you need to know.

How Hot Will It Get?

According to the NCM forecast, temperatures across the country are climbing fast, with some areas expected to feel like an oven:

  • Internal regions: Expect maximum temperatures between 42°C and 46°C.
  • Coastal and island areas: Highs will range between 39°C and 44°C.
  • Mountainous areas: Slightly cooler, with temperatures between 32°C and 39°C.

On Wednesday, the highest temperature recorded was a scorching 46.2°C in Bada Dafas, located in the Al Dhafra region, at 2:00 pm.
