On Thursday night, Saudi Arabia sighted the crescent Moon that signifies the conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan. According to the Saudi Supreme Court, the first day of Eid Al Fitr for this year, 1444 AH is tomorrow, Friday, April 21st.

Residents of the UAE will get a 4-day holiday to observe the Islamic celebration, which is observed after a month of fasting.

On the first day of Eid, Muslims perform special congregational prayers. The Eid Musallahs, which are enormous open places where people gather for special prayers early after daybreak, organize these special occasions.

The holy month of Ramadan, which ended with the Moon's sighting on Thursday, lasted for 29 days.
