UAE and KSA Declare the 1st Day of Eid Al Fitr on Apr. 10

The first day of Eid Al Fitr will fall on Wednesday, Apr. 10 in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

UAE's Moon Sighting Committee gathered on Monday, Apr. 8 to sight the crescent moon and the moon was not sighted, therefore Tuesday will be the final day of Ramadan and the first day of Eid will fall on Wednesday. 

Saudi Arabia's Supreme Court and Qatar also made the same announcement.

The UAE recently announced the Eid Al Fitr holidays for both public and private sectors.  

Saudi Arabia also announced a six-day Eid Al Fitr holiday for both public and private sectors.
