What is Innovation Day? 


Innovation is the practical implementation of ideas that result in the introduction of new goods or services or improvement in offering goods or services. Innovation day was created by The Science History Institute and the Society of Chemical Industry to appreciate the efforts of those inventors who are bringing innovation and change in the field of science and technology. In addition, to inspire young inventors to share their ideas loudly with the world, so they get a chance to be experimental and inventive in their fields of interest.  

How to Celebrate Innovation Day? 

  • Make a competition at school or work for the best innovative idea to improve or solve something.   

  • Read a book about innovation.  

  • Make a video to share on social media about the most famous inventions that changed the world.  

  • Get inspired by reading the history of inventors, for example, Edison, who invented the electric lamp.
