Made-in-India Electric Scooter Launched in The UAE

The electric two-wheeler was introduced by Indian motorbike manufacturer TVS Motor on Wednesday in the UAE.

The TVS e-scooter will be made available in the UAE and other international markets as of the beginning of the following fiscal year in April 2024.

The TVS X electric scooter was priced by the firm at Rs249,990 (Dh11,120), with the first 2,000 customers receiving special bonuses.

The TVS Motor Company's director and CEO, KN Radhakrishnan, stated that reservations have begun and deliveries will commence in India in November 2023.

“We plan to expand it to other cities in the last quarter of this financial year,” Radhakrishnan said during the launch.

“This is just the first model and it will evolve as we will continue to invest, in it,” he added.
