Musk Reinstates Kanye West on X Social Media Platform

Social media platform X reactivated Ye's account, the musician formerly known as Kanye West, after nearly eight months of suspension.

The account was suspended because the rapper had violated the platform's rules prohibiting incitement to violence.

Ye's account now shows his most recent post dated December 1st, 2022, a day before his account was suspended on platform X, the new name owner Elon Musk has given Twitter.

Ye's account was suspended in December, only two months after it had been reinstated, because one of his posts had previously displayed inappropriate content.

X reinstated Ye's account after getting assurances that he would not use the platform to promote antisemitic or or otherwise harmful language.
