Scammers in Dubai Send Fake UAE Central Bank Messages to Residents

After UAE residents were scammed with fake messages from Aramax and Emirates Post, scammers are sending fake messages pretending to be from the UAE Central Bank. 

A Dubai resident received an email from a scammer with an official-looking e-document with the logos of all the relevant official authorities related to the UAE Central Bank.

The e-document read, "Sorry, Dear Customer, Your Bank Account....will be freeze due to some security reasons, (and verify your all correct details) otherwise your account will be suspended permanent."

The document even has a red stamp, saying 'Account Suspended', which is bound to put anyone in a state of panic. 

Authorities in the UAE have constantly warned residents in the country against submitting any personal details to these scammers. 

UAE residents and locals should be careful about sharing any personal details with anyone online.
