Sharjah's University City, also known as Sharjah University City, is an educational hub located near Sharjah International Airport. Established in 1998 under the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the Ruler of Sharjah and Member of the Supreme Council, this district was designed to foster academic excellence.

Home to over 20 educational institutions and a vibrant community of more than 30,000 knowledge seekers, the University City of Sharjah is inspired by Islamic architecture and surrounded by lush greenery spanning over 15,000 sq. km.

Where is University City?

 

The University City of Sharjah is situated to the east of Sharjah International Airport. It is bordered to the north by areas like Al Fayha, Al Falaj, and Al Azra, while to the south, you'll find the boundary with Dubai. To the east, the Al Dhaid Road provides connectivity to various parts of Sharjah. To the west, the University City is bordered by Sharjah's central area, including districts like Al Nahda and Al Qasimia.
