Sharjah Announces 50% Discount on Traffic Fines

Sharjah will get a 50% discount on traffic fines as UAE’s National Day approaches. Vehicle impoundment orders and traffic points can also be cancelled for 50 days from November 21, 2021, to January 31, 2022.

According to the decision issued by the Sharjah Executive Council, the discount is applicable on violations registered before November 21. They don’t cover serious traffic offences.

Authorities in Ajman had also announced a 50% off on fines registered before November 14. Drivers can avail of the discounts from November 21 to December 31.

The UAE will celebrate 50 years of its Union on December 2. Nation-wide events and celebrations have been announced to mark the milestone event.
