UAE Condemns Attack on Hamad Prosthetics Hospital in Gaza

The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned the recent Israeli airstrikes on the Hamad Prosthetics Hospital in the Gaza Strip. The attack tragically resulted in the death and injury of several innocent civilians and is being described by the UAE as a clear violation of international humanitarian law.

In an official statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) denounced the targeting of medical facilities, stressing that hospitals, healthcare workers, and civilian infrastructure must never be caught in the crossfire of conflict. The Ministry emphasized that the protection of civilians and humanitarian institutions is a legal and moral obligation under international law.

The UAE also voiced serious concerns about the continued escalation of violence in Gaza, warning that ongoing aggression will only worsen the already dire humanitarian crisis in the region. The immediate priority, the Ministry stated, should be to protect civilian lives and ensure the delivery of humanitarian and medical aid without delay or obstruction.

The UAE called on the global community to step up efforts to de-escalate the situation and push for a long-term political solution. MoFA reiterated the country’s firm stance in support of a two-state solution that leads to the establishment of an independent, sovereign Palestinian state—one that fulfills the legitimate aspirations of the Palestinian people in line with international resolutions.
