City Walk was buzzing on December 1 as residents from all corners of the world showed up to celebrate Eid Al Etihad with flags, music, and pure good vibes. From Russia to the Philippines to Pakistan and beyond, everyone marched together to say one thing: they love the UAE.

A Crowd That Felt Like One Big Family

Walkways were packed with people dressed in UAE colors, waving flags, and recording everything like it was the hottest show in town. Many even travelled from other emirates just to be part of the action.

For Russian resident Varvara Petrova, joining the parade felt like home. Filipino participant Mary Marisol said their group shouted “We love UAE” because it’s straight from the heart. Pakistani resident Bilal Ahmed called the mix of cultures “the best part,” saying only the UAE brings this kind of unity to life.

Performances That Lit Up the Street

The parade was basically a cultural talent fest. Indian drummers hyped up the crowd, Filipino groups cheered loudly, and Chinese performers floated through with a graceful umbrella dance. Russian participants added pops of color with their traditional outfits, while Pakistani and Turkish groups waved both their national flags and the UAE’s with pride.

Even kids in UAE-themed outfits got in on the fun, waving tiny flags and posing for photos like mini influencers.

A Celebration of Belonging

For many families, the day was a reminder of how diverse the UAE truly is. Ayesha Khan from Al Nahda said she brought her children to show them how many cultures call the country home. And as the parade continued, chants of “We love UAE” echoed through City Walk—proof that the spirit of unity is alive and loud.
