UAE Rolls Out Official Brand Rules for Eid Al Etihad 2025

The UAE just unveiled the official brand guidelines for Eid Al Etihad 2025, setting the tone for the 54th Union anniversary celebrations under the theme “United.” The guidelines explain how everyone—from government offices to private companies—can use the official logo and colors properly to keep the celebration’s look consistent across the country.

Inspired by Sheikh Zayed’s Vision

This year’s logo pays tribute to the UAE’s founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. It takes inspiration from the early street signs that appeared during the nation’s formation—symbols of progress and direction that still define the country today. The logo comes in three versions: a standard, a framed, and a negative design, each adaptable for different backgrounds and uses.

Colors, Symbols, and Meaning

The visual identity uses three main color palettes: the Flag Palette inspired by the UAE flag, the Heritage Palette featuring warm neutral tones, and the Seven Emirates Palette, where each emirate is represented by its own color and symbol—like the palm tree, dhow, fort, and rising sun. The number “54” in the design nods to the silhouette of UAE license plates, symbolizing unity and movement across the nation.

What Not to Do With the Logo

There are clear no-nos in the new rulebook: don’t stretch, recolor, rotate, or mix the logo with others. It can’t be used as decoration, on cluttered backgrounds, or with added shadows or effects. Basically—keep it clean, balanced, and respectful of its meaning.

Month-Long Celebration Starts November 3

Eid Al Etihad celebrations will kick off with Flag Day on November 3 and run all the way through December 2, marking the UAE’s 54th Union anniversary. The Eid Al Etihad Team—made up of reps from all seven emirates—encourages everyone to follow the official brand guide available at EidAlEtihad.ae, with more creative resources coming soon.
