Dubai's Jumeirah Zoo is set to make a comeback after a seven-year hiatus, as part of HH Sheikh Hamdan's ambitious heritage preservation project. The initiative aims to safeguard 35 iconic sites and buildings, spanning from the 1960s to the 1990s, marking a significant chapter in Dubai's architectural evolution.

Among the notable landmarks slated for restoration are Dubai Courts building, Safa Park building, and the historic Jumeirah Zoo, which closed its doors in 2017 to make way for Dubai Safari. The closure marked the end of an era for the beloved zoo, but its revival promises to reignite nostalgia among long-time residents.

While details on the zoo's restoration timeline remain undisclosed, Sheikh Hamdan emphasized the importance of preserving Dubai's rich history and architectural legacy for future generations.
