The UAE’s Moon-Sighting Committee has confirmed that Eid Al Fitr will begin on Friday, after the crescent moon was not sighted tonight. This makes Thursday, March 19, the 30th and final day of Ramadan.

Long weekend for employees

Public and private sector employees across the UAE will enjoy a long weekend from Thursday to Sunday, March 19 to 22, with paid leave granted in celebration of Eid.

End of Ramadan

Authorities encourage residents to observe the final day of fasting and prepare for Eid prayers and festivities while following any local guidelines.
