Dates Predicted for Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr 2024

Leading astronomers have predicted that Ramadan's first day will fall on Monday, Mar. 11, 2024.

Ramadan is a month of spiritual reflection and involves fasting from dawn to dusk every day of the month.

If this prediction is correct, then the first day of Eid Al Fitr will fall on Wednesday, Apr. 10, 2024. 

Eid Al Fitr marks the end of Ramadan and is a time of festivities and celebrations for the community.

The official starting dates for both events will be determined by the moon sighting committee the night before the predicted date.

During the Holy Month, the working hours and school hours are reduced. Restaurants also remain closed during the day to respect fasting people.
