Emirates Cancels Flights From Dubai to Germany Amid of Strikes

Emirates has cancelled several flights between Dubai and Germany due to nationwide transport strikes in the latter.

Services to Munich, Frankfurt and Düsseldorf will be affected.

"Customers connecting on cancelled flights to Munich, Frankfurt and Düsseldorf will not be accepted for travel at the origin," the airline said on its official website.

Emirates is cancelling two flights to and from Dubai and Munich, while three flights to and from Frankfurt, and one flight to and from Düsseldorf are cancelled.

Meanwhile, EK060 flight from Hamburg to Dubai has been delayed by 25 hours and will depart on Tuesday, March 28th.

Travellers who booked directly with Emirates can contact the airline for rebooking, while passengers who booked via travel agents are urged to rebook by contacting their travel agents.

Almost all planes, trains and buses in Germany were at a standstill today, March 27th, after a nationwide 24-hour strike began at midnight, as workers are demanding a 10.5 percent increase in wages, in line with inflation.
