Passenger advisory amid US blizzard

In a travel advisory posted on its website, Emirates said passengers affected by cancellations should contact their travel agency for rebooking. Customers who booked directly with the airline are advised to reach out to Emirates for assistance.

The airline added that travellers on rescheduled flights connecting through Dubai will be automatically rebooked to their final destinations. Passengers are urged to update their contact details via the “Manage Your Booking” portal to receive real-time updates.

The storm system is forecast to bring strong winds, heavy snowfall and near-whiteout conditions, with aviation authorities warning of potential airport closures and delays across the US Northeast corridor. Emirates apologised for any inconvenience caused as safety measures are implemented in response to the severe weather.
