Hijri New Year 2025: Abu Dhabi Announces Public Bus Timings

Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) has confirmed public transport schedules for the Hijri New Year holiday on Friday, June 27, 2025. Residents can expect buses to run on the weekend and public holiday schedule, with extra trips added for regional and intercity routes.

Customer Happiness Centres Closed Until June 30

All Customer Happiness Centres across Abu Dhabi will be closed on June 27 in observance of the Islamic New Year. Regular operations will resume on Monday, June 30.

Services Still Accessible Online

Even while physical service centres are closed, residents can still access ITC services online. Key platforms include:

  • AD Mobility official website

  • Darbi mobile app

  • TAMM government services portal

  • 24/7 call hotlines: 800850 (DMT Support Centre) and 600535353 (Taxi Services)

Abu Dhabi Link and Express Services Continue

  • Abu Dhabi Link (on-demand minibus service) will operate 6 AM to 11 PM

  • Abu Dhabi Express buses will run extended hours, from 6 AM to midnight
