Mohamed bin Zayed Receives an Invitation to Visit Washington

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, and Joseph Biden, President of the friendly United States of America, discussed, on Saturday, the strategic relations between the two countries, and opportunities for developing cooperation and joint work at various levels, to achieve their mutual interests and aspirations for the future; on the sidelines of the "Jeddah Security and Development" summit hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the city of Jeddah.

President Joseph Biden offered his condolences to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the people of the UAE on the death of the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The US President also congratulated His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on his assumption of the presidency of the UAE and invited His Highness to visit the United States of America.

The two sides discussed several regional and global opportunities and challenges, which require close coordination between the UAE and the USA, as they are strategic partners.
