Sheikh Mohammed hails Morocco's historic World Cup win

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, congratulated Morocco after the Atlas Lions made history by reaching the FIFA World Cup quarter-finals with a strong 3-0 win against Canada on Saturday.

Sharing his joy on X, Sheikh Mohammed praised the team's incredible performance, saying: "Congratulations to the Atlas Lions on today's victory... Congratulations on reaching the World Cup quarter-finals. A powerful performance and a fighting spirit that make us happy and proud."

The Dubai Ruler also sent his warm wishes to the brotherly people of Morocco and King Mohammed VI, wishing the team the best of luck in their upcoming matches.

Morocco secured their quarter-final spot after an amazing game against Canada in Houston. Azzedine Ounahi scored two goals in the second half, and Soufiane Rahimi added a third goal to seal the fantastic victory.
