The Umm Al Quwain Police have made announcements about a temporary road closure as well as the installation of a speed radar at the detour location.

The E611 Emirates Road from Ras Al Khaimah to Sharjah between the Al Aqarn exit and the Al Shuhada Bridge will be temporarily closed on October 17th as part of an initiative by the UAE to provide urgent aid to the Palestinian people, the authority announced on their social media platforms on Friday. This will result in a traffic diversion, they added.
 

The authority said, "There will be a diversion on Emirates Road from Ras Al Khaimah towards Sharjah, between the intersections of Al Aqarn area, Exit 95 and Al Shuhada Bridge, Ras Al Khaimah."
