UAE Visit Visa: Tourists Can Now Extend Their Stay for Longer Time

Whoever is visiting the UAE for 30 or 60 days on a tourism visa trip can stay for a longer time of 30 days. The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) and the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) has issued this decision to grant tourists and visitors the chance to spend an extra 30 days to enjoy the country’s sites and wonders.

The UAE has conducted several changes in the visa procedures since last October which marked one of the most significant residency and entry permits reforms by the ICP (Immigration and Citizenship Program). Additional several developments have been implemented in the visit visa system of the country.

According to a call centre representative of Amer Centre, the visit visa extension is conducted to make it easier for tourists to extend their duration of stay, however contact for extension should be done first, “one must contact their visa issuing agent to for the extension."
