UAE's President Sheikh Mohamed Hoists Flag on UAE Flag Day

The President of the UAE Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed hoisted the country's flag on Nov. 3, on the occasion of the UAE Flag Day.

He hoisted the flag as he was joined by the first Arab to perform a spacewalk and Emirati astronaut Dr. Sultan Al Neyadi.

On the occasion, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed also participated in a flag hoisting ceremony at the Crown Prince Court in Abu Dhabi.

Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid also shared a video for the UAE Flag Day.

The video is captioned "The symbol of our union...the banner of our glory...the flag of our country...the flag of the United Arab Emirate".

The video depicts people across various sectors in the UAE contributing to the development of the country.

All these people are shown wearing gear that sports the UAE flag or they have the flag in their workspaces, symbolizing their dedication to their country.

The video ends with a family celebrating the UAE Flag Day as they look up to the hoisted UAE flag.

The Crown Prince of Dubai Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed also shared a video on the occasion and captioned it "The flag of our country is a symbol of union, glory, pride, and ambitions that do not know the impossible."

The video depicts Dr. Al Neyadi handing the UAE flag he brought from space to the UAE's President.

The video also shows Sheikh Mohamed with Sheikh Khaled and his grandchildren while holding the UAE flag.
