Calling all aspiring artists and animators! The Sharjah Animation Conference is returning for a second edition this May!

The conference will take place at the Sharjah Expo Center in Taawun from May 1 to May 5.

Workshops

Unleash Your Creativity at the Sharjah Animation Conference!

The Sharjah Animation Conference will host various exciting workshops, which will allow visitors to hone their existing skills and learn new skills!

Workshops will cover a wide range of topics including principles of animation, character design, background design, visualizing narratives, and much more!

Workshops will be led by international and regional animation industry experts. Learn from the creators of your favorite animated movies like 'Aladdin', 'Inside Out', 'Kung Fu Panda', 'Madagascar', and many others!

Talks and Panel Discussions

Gain insight into various aspects of the animation industry with talks and panel discussions featuring various industry experts at the Sharjah Animation Conference. 

The talks will feature a wide selection of topics including mastering audiovisual rights, pitching animation stories, animation for adults, anime creation, film adaptations, and much more!

Concerts

Unleash Your Creativity at the Sharjah Animation Conference!

The iconic Florence Pops Orchestra will perform the musical scores of visitors' favorite games and animated movies during the Sharjah Animation Conference!

The orchestra will perform at the following times:

  • May 1: 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • May 3: 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • May 5: 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Zeez Zone

If you have children tagging along with you, check out the Zeez Zone where your little ones will be entertained!

The Zeez Zone will be open on May 2, May 4, and May 5, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
