The Sharjah Animation Conference is Returning This May!

Calling all illustrators, graphic designers, and anime lovers! The second edition of the Sharjah Animation Conference will take place from May 1 to May 5 at the Sharjah Expo Center.

The conference will feature exciting and insightful workshops, panel discussions, and talks from visitors' favorite animators and artists.

Animation artists will also have the chance to exhibit their artwork at the conference.

This year, the Sharjah Animation Conference has launched two awards: the Book Trailer Award and the Pitch the Project Award.

The Book Trailer Award requires participants to create a promo book trailer for the “Kharareef” book series by Emirati author Dubai Abulhoul and submit it by Apr. 10.

The Pitch the Project Award requires participants to pitch a proposal for an animated series representing participants' Middle Eastern culture and heritage.

The 15th edition of the exciting Sharjah Children's Reading Festival will take place alongside the animation conference at the Sharjah Expo Center from May 1 to May 12.

The reading festival will feature exciting performances, fun workshops for the little ones, and much more!
