The memories still sparkle like diamonds when I think back to those carefree days. There was this little guy who stumbled upon an animal shelter one fateful day and let me tell his story it's pure magic. He spotted a pup that had been patiently waiting for its forever home, surrounded by uncertainty as the hours ticked away on some sterile kennel floor clock.  In what felt like seconds to both of them (I suppose you could say their clocks synced up.), this young boy connected with an animal he would later come back again and see every day a furry best friend waiting patiently for that special connection. That's when it all clicked in his heart, the little guy knew without hesitation or doubt; they were meant to be.  The idea of those moments shared between them warms my own insides like hot cocoa on Christmas morning.
