Abu Dhabi and Sharjah Airports Partially Resume Flights Amid Exceptional Operations

Abu Dhabi Airports confirmed on Monday that operations have partially resumed at Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) as of 2 March 2026. The move comes in coordination with airlines and relevant authorities to ensure stranded passengers can safely depart.

Passengers are advised to check directly with their airlines for the latest flight updates before heading to the airport.

Sharjah Follows With Limited Operations

Sharjah International Airport has also announced a partial resumption of flights starting today. According to the Sharjah Media Bureau, the limited operations will run under a defined schedule coordinated with airlines and authorities.

Travellers were reminded to confirm departure times with their airline before going to the airport to avoid congestion and delays.

Both airport authorities emphasized that passenger safety and efficient service delivery remain top priorities.
