Bur Dubai's Shiva Temple to Relocate to Jebel Ali by This Date

The Hindu community in Dubai has been saddened by the news of the relocation of the Shiva Temple from Bur Dubai to Jebel Ali by Jan. 3, 2024.

Many members of the Hindu community reminisce various fond childhood memories related to the temple. 

Individuals have also emphasized how they will miss the temple as visiting it had become part of their daily routine.

Benefits of Relocating the Temple to Jebel Ali

Some members are also welcoming towards the relocation because there were various parking, traffic, and congestion issues with the temple in Bur Dubai.

The new location in Jebel Ali is more spacious, welcoming large numbers of worshippers. 

The relocation has also come with the reduction of traffic and parking issues. 

Nonetheless, there are shop owners around the temple who are working towards preservation fo the temple in Bur Dubai.

Some of the shop owners, who sell prayer items, are also considering relocating to the Festival Plaza in Jebel Ali.

The relocation of the temple was requested by the committee managing the temple complex because of the traffic and parking issues in the Bur Dubai location.
