Sultan Al Neyadi Shared an Image of Dubai at Night From Space

Emirati astronaut Dr. Sultan Al Neyadi has shared an image of Dubai at night from space. 

The photo features The Palm Jumeirah, the Jumeirah Village Circle, Jebel Ali, and residential areas in Dubai. 

Dr. Al Neyadi shared the picture on Twitter with the caption "Dubai shines almost as bright as the stars up here.”

The Crown Prince of Dubai Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed retweeted the image. He wrote, "An awe-inspiring photograph of Dubai taken by Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi from the space station paints a picture of the nation's extraordinary achievements both on Earth and beyond.”

Dr. Al Neyadi became the first Arab to perform a spacewalk on April 28th and he will exit the space station again on May 6th with his colleagues to relocate the Dragon capsule.
