Divorced and Widowed Women to Have One Year Extension on UAE Visa

According to the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP), The UAE government extends a woman's residence visa by one year when she gets divorced or becomes a widow while she is resident in the country on her husband's visa.

The extension period begins on the day of her husband's death or divorce. There is no alternative sponsor needed for this sort of visa, which is renewed only once.

What are the conditions to still maintain the one-year grace period after the death or divorce with the husband?

If the woman's children were covered on their father's visa when he passed away or when their parents were divorced, then they too are covered by the visa extension.
The mother's residence visa must be longer than the children's at the time of the husband's death or divorce.
The mother's and her kids' visas have to still be valid at the time of the husband's death or divorce.
