Tensions hit close to home late Tuesday night after a suspected Iranian drone strike near the U.S. Consulate in Dubai.

According to reports, a drone landed in a parking lot along Al Seef Road, next to the U.S. Consulate, sparking a fire. The blaze was quickly put out, and emergency teams rushed to the scene. The area was later cordoned off by law enforcement and military personnel.

The U.S. confirmed that all consulate personnel were evacuated and accounted for.

Videos of the incident quickly circulated on social media, showing smoke rising from the area. Authorities moved fast, containing the fire and securing the site.

No casualties were reported.

The incident follows earlier reported strikes on U.S. consulates in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, marking another escalation in regional tensions.

In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the country has been subjected to more than 1,000 attacks, a number it described as higher than the combined total faced by other targeted nations in the region.

Officials added that the UAE’s armed forces responded with “professionalism and efficiency.”

The UAE also reiterated that it is not part of the conflict and did not allow its territory to be used for attacks against Iran.

Security Remains Tight

Authorities reaffirmed their commitment to protecting residents and maintaining national security as monitoring continues.

For now, operations remain under control, but the region stays on high alert.
