Massive Fire Sweeps Through 15-Story Residential Building in Ajman

Earlier on Friday, a fire engulfed a 15-story residential structure in the Al Nuaimiya neighborhood (3) on Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Street.

The quick action of the Ajman Police and Civil Defence services allowed the fire to be put out quickly after it was reported, and all residents were safely evacuated without suffering any injuries.

13 vehicles were damaged, and 16 apartments had been totally destroyed. Investigative teams are working to determine the fire's precise cause after the incident.

Police patrols quickly responded to the alert, arrived on the spot, and cordoned off the area in crisis. They carried out a quick evacuation while working closely with the Civil Defence, assuring the security of everyone inside the facility.

In order to prevent such incidents, Brigadier Abdullah Saif Al Matrooshi, Director General of Police Operations, pleaded with building owners and residents to rigorously abide by safety procedures, particularly in residential settings.
