Sharjah’s Joud Ramadan Campaign to Aid 1.1M People

Sharjah Charity International (SCI) has kicked off its Joud 2025 Ramadan campaign, setting an ambitious target of Dh136 million to support 1.1 million beneficiaries across the UAE and beyond.

Announced at the Sharjah Education Academy in the presence of Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi and key officials, the campaign reflects SCI’s commitment to fostering solidarity and uplifting vulnerable communities during the holy month.

Key Initiatives

✅ Iftar Meal Distribution: Nearly 1 million meals will be provided throughout Ramadan, including 870,000 meals within the UAE and Ramadan baskets for over 25,000 people in Sharjah.

✅ Zakat & Eid Support: 3,000 beneficiaries will receive Eid clothing, alongside Zakat Al Mal and 17,000 Zakat Al Fitr packages for those in need.

✅ Medical & Humanitarian Aid: Dh4 million has been allocated for patient treatment, Dh1 million for home restorations, and additional funds for global projects such as water network development and medical aid in underserved regions.

Abdullah Sultan bin Khadem, Executive Director of SCI, expressed gratitude to donors and partners, emphasizing that the Joud campaign embodies the spirit of Ramadan—compassion, giving, and community support.

With initiatives spanning both local and international communities, Sharjah’s Joud 2025 campaign is set to make a lasting impact during the sacred month.
