UAE Astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi's Return to Earth Gets Postponed

NASA has announced that Crew-6's departure from the International Space Station (ISS) got postponed due to unfavorable weather conditions near splashdown sites off the coast of Florida.

Sultan Al Neyadi and the rest of the crew were supposed to undock from the ISS on Saturday, September 2nd, and splash down off the coast of Florida at 8:58 am (UAE time) on Sunday, September 3rd.

According to Nasa and SpaceX, the next available undocking opportunity is now no earlier than Sunday, September 3rd.

Crew-6 is now expected to come home on Monday, September 4th, depending on weather conditions.

Besides Al Neyadi, the rest of the mission's crew consists of two NASA astronauts, Mission Commander Stephen Bowen, and Pilot Warren Hoburg; and Andrey Fedyaev, who along with Al Neyadi served as a mission specialist to the space station for the science expedition mission.
