UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Praises Women Worldwide on Mother's Day

UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has paid tribute to women worldwide on the occasion of Mother's Day, calling them an "unwavering source of love."

Sheikh Mohamed made the comment on Twitter as praised his own mother, Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, also known as the Mother of the Nation.

"To my beloved mother, and mothers everywhere, you remain an unwavering source of love, strength and inspiration. You are celebrated and cherished today and every day, and we pray for your continued health and happiness. I wish you a very happy Mother's Day," he said.

In a speech shared by state-run news agency WAM, Sheikha Fatima also said that mothers are a truly inspiring symbol of love, devotion and sincerity.

Mother's Day falls on March 21st every year in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Libya, Lebanon, Mauritania, Palestine, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen.

It is celebrated on different days in different countries all over the world, but all focus on demonstrating love and appreciation for mothers.

It focuses on celebrating and honouring mothers and is considered a perfect occasion to show gratitude to maternal figures for all they do and their effect on our personal lives and their work in society at large.
