7-Year-Old in Sharjah Dies After Being Forgotten Inside Car

Sharjah Police have reported the death of a 7-year-old boy who was left in a car parked outside his school. The child, of Asian descent, died after being left in the vehicle since morning by an unlicensed driver hired by his parents.

Circumstances

After arriving at the school, the driver and other passengers left the car while the boy remained inside. The female driver locked the doors without checking for any remaining passengers and then left with her husband.

Discovery

The child was found dead in the car later in the day when it was time for students to go home. The tragic incident has raised concerns about the safety of children during transportation.

Police Caution

Sharjah Police are urging residents to avoid using unlicensed drivers for school transportation. They recommend using designated school buses that are equipped with safety measures and monitored by authorities. Parents may also choose to drive their children themselves to ensure their safety.
