Alternate Routes to Take During the Closure of Al Maktoum Bridge

According to a statement released on Saturday by Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), the Al Maktoum Bridge will partially close from Mondays to Saturdays, six days per week, from 12:00am to 5:00am until Saturday, May 13th.

Listed below are the alternative reroutes drivers may take during the partial closure of the Al Maktoum Bridge:

. Al Garhoud Bridge
. Business Bay Bridge
. Al Shindagha Tunnel
. Infinity Bridge

The authority, however, did not specify the reason for the shutdown of the key motorway.

In order to maintain a smooth flow of traffic while the Al Maktoum Bridge is closed, the authority has stated that it would monitor and regulate traffic flow.

Similarly, the RTA previously announced the closure of the Floating Bridge in both directions for 5 weeks starting April 17th, to give way to major maintenance works.
