Sheikh Mohammed Surprises High School Topper With Special Call

Yasmine Mahmoud Abdullah, UAE high school topper, received a unique surprise when Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, called to congratulate her for the achievement.

"I spoke with Yasmine Mahmoud Abdullah and congratulated her for obtaining the first place," Sheikh Mohammed tweeted.

His Highness asked her about her future plans and the college she had chosen for her graduate studies throughout the call.

Sheikh Mohammed also took the opportunity to congratulate all graduates, their families and their teachers "for a successful school year".
