Sheikh Mohammed: Women are "the soul and spirit of the country"

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has issued a special message in the lead-up to Emirati Women’s Day.

In a video message, he posted on Twitter, he said women are “the soul and spirit of the country.” “Around 70% of the UAE’s graduates are women.. And at my office 85% of employees are female,” Sheikh Mohammed added.

The UAE's Emirati Women’s Day is celebrated on August 28, this year I theme is “Inspiring Reality .. Sustainable Future”. This day celebrates women's progress in the field of gender equality and women’s empowerment.
