In a dramatic airlift operation on Saturday, the UAE National Guard, in collaboration with Ras Al Khaimah Police, swooped in with a rescue helicopter after receiving an alert about a hiker in distress. The man was discovered in a remote mountain area, struggling with extreme exhaustion and the region’s rising heat, unable to descend on his own.

The National Search and Rescue Center quickly tracked his location — which wasn’t accessible by road — and airlifted him straight to the nearest hospital. Fast response. Clean execution. Life saved.
