Ras Al Khaimah PoliceAir Wing has safely rescued an Emirati citizen who got stranded at about 2,000 feet in Wadi Shah after an urgent emergency response.

Ras Al Khaimah Police said the operations room received a report that the person was trapped in rough mountain terrain. A police helicopter was sent immediately to the area, where the rescue team found the stranded man and carried out the air rescue.

The operation ended safely, and the person was taken to a secure place without any serious injuries reported. Authorities praised the fast response of the Air Wing and the skill of its trained crew, which helped make the rescue successful.

Wadi Shah, in the Hajar Mountains of Ras Al Khaimah, is a well-known spot for hikers and adventure lovers. Still, the area has steep slopes and difficult paths that can be risky, especially during summer when high temperatures can lead to tiredness and dehydration.

Ras Al Khaimah Police reminded residents and visitors to stay safe during mountain trips. They advised people to carry enough drinking water, avoid dangerous routes, and tell someone about their travel plans before heading out. The police also urged the public to follow official safety instructions and call emergency services right away in case of danger.
