Sharjah Declares 3 Days of Free Parking for Eid Al Adha 2025

Sharjah Municipality has confirmed free public parking for three days during the Eid Al Adha break. From Friday, June 6, to Sunday, June 8, drivers won’t have to pay for parking in most areas of the city.

However, this does not apply to zones marked with blue signs, which are paid parking areas that operate all week, including public holidays.

Dubai Parking Also Free, But Salik Toll Still Applies

Meanwhile, in Dubai, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced that public parking will be free for four days, from Wednesday, June 5, to Saturday, June 8.

But keep in mind—Salik toll gates will still be active during the holidays. The regular variable toll pricing will remain in place. Salik clarified that tolls are not waived during public holidays.

Sharjah Service Centers Closed for Eid

Alongside the parking updates, Sharjah Municipality also said that its medical fitness centers and the Al Jubail veterinary clinic will be closed from Thursday, June 5, to Sunday, June 8. Services will resume on Monday, June 9.

This follows the UAE’s official Eid Al Adha holiday announcement, which granted public sector employees a four-day weekend from June 5 to 8.
