Renewing or replacing your Emirates ID just got way easier. The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) rolled out a new system that lets citizens finish the whole thing in one step—no more jumping through hoops.

Updated process aims to simplify administrative procedures, reduce waiting times, and enhance the overall citizen experience.

Validity Based on Age

Here’s how it works: if you’re 21 or older, your new ID will be valid for 10 years. If you’re under 21, it’s good for 5 years. The setup is the same as passport services, so the process feels familiar.
