Dubai British Expat Wins Dh1 Million in Mahzooz Draw

Timothy, a 67-year-old British citizen, joined the ranks of Mahzooz's millionaires as he secured the guaranteed raffle prize of Dh1 million during the 136th weekly draw held on Saturday night, marking him as the 51st individual to achieve this.

A resident of Dubai for over three decades and father of two daughters, Timothy expressed his intention to use the unexpected fortune to provide a secure future for his family within the United Arab Emirates.

“I am from the UK, but I have considered the UAE my home for the past 32 years and while I still need time to figure out what to do with the prize money, I think my plan is to stay here in the UAE with my family for the rest of my life. I feel very grateful to live in such a wonderful country,” said Timothy.

Introduced to Mahzooz by a friend a mere two months ago, Timothy has been engaging in the weekly draws since May 2023, showcasing his active participation in the lottery.

In addition to Timothy's win, the same draw awarded Dh467,000 in prize money to 1,088 other participants who secured the second and third prizes, with the winnings divided among them.
