Dubai is fully prepared to mark Eid Al Adha with prayers scheduled at 937 mosques across the emirate at 5:45 AM on Wednesday, May 27, as announced by the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD).

A comprehensive operational plan has been put in place to ensure worshippers experience a safe and peaceful environment during the Eid prayers.

This year, the prayers will feature the participation of members of the ‘Mu’adhin Al Freej’ initiative. They will deliver the Eid takbeerat and the call to prayer, emphasizing community involvement and the essence of Islamic traditions.

The department shared that this initiative aims to strengthen children’s ties with religious practices, while promoting Emirati identity and core Islamic values.

Parents are encouraged to motivate their children to attend Eid prayers and partake in the takbeerat. This is seen as a key opportunity to instill religious values in the younger generation and deepen their connection to Islamic traditions.

All mosque facilities and support services have been prepared to meet the highest standards of safety and operation. Dubai remains committed to efficiently organizing religious events, ensuring top-quality services for everyone who gathers to worship.

On this joyous occasion, Ahmed Darwish Al Muhairi, Director-General of IACAD, extended warm Eid greetings to the UAE leadership. He noted that Eid Al Adha symbolizes values like obedience, compassion, and solidarity, celebrating the unity and social harmony that define UAE society.

He added that the preparation of mosques for Eid prayers reflects the department's dedication to ensuring residents can worship in a calm, organized, and well-serviced environment.
