Funeral Prayers Held for Sheikh Hazza bin Sultan

Funeral prayers were held in Abu Dhabi on Thursday, May 9 for Sheikh Hazza bin Sultan.

The funeral prayers were held at the Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan the First Mosque. 

Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; Sheikh Saif bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; and Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence were present at the funeral prayers among other officials.

Sheikh Hazza was laid to rest at Al Bateen Cemetery. The UAE Presidential Court announced the death of Sheikh Hazza earlier on Thursday. 

The Crown Prince of Dubai Sheikh Hamdan paid tribute to Sheikh Hazza on X.
